For your consideration is a beautiful 1973 Ford XLT short bed with ultra low miles. With not even 16k miles, this truck really does feel like a new ’73 Ford! Loaded with a 360 FE V8, 4 speed manual, 4×4, Air conditioning and many factory upgrades such as load hooks and sliding rear window.
EXTERIOR: The paint is glossy and shows no signs of cracking or issues. The Raven Black color is original to the truck. It has had one repaint a few years ago. The trim, grill, glass and bumpers on the truck are in excellent condition. This is a rust free truck and has always been a rust free truck!
INTERIOR: Original, Maroon and in great shape is the best way to describe the interior. The interior has virtually no flaws. Excluding its steering wheel, the interior is original.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 360 is the correct engine and the engine that the truck was born with. The engine has been detailed and serviced. It starts quickly and easily every time. It is VERY strong and runs exactly the way an FE big block should, tons of torque! The transmission shifts smoothly, the steering is proper, brakes are work as they should and the 4×4 system operates nicely.
BED: The bed has a professionally applied spray in bed-liner. As with the rest of the truck, no rust!
UNDERSIDE: Rust free and nice. Its clear this truck has always been taken care of and not used wet weather.
UPGRADES: LED headlights and marker lights. Long tube headers & Flowmaster dual exhaust. AC converted to R134a. Kenda Kevlar M/T tires. 16? American Racing Wheels.
OVERALL: Everything works as it should. LED lights help make this truck safer at night. The truck could easily be on of the nicest examples of the rare loaded Ranger XLT. Its a reliable truck that you can use and do very well with at the car shows.
