FACTORY INFO. At 21 feet long and 96 inches wide, the MasterCraft X-9 offers families lots of growing room while providing excellent water ski performance and beefy wakeboard wakes. The X-9 gives direct drive enthusiasts tight tracking, sculpted wakes and plenty of power from a 5.7 liter, fuel-injected, 310 hp, V-8 Predator engine. It also has 1 more foot of beam and 2 more feet of length than the X-7. That adds up to considerably more storage space, a larger open bow and more walking room amidship than most other models in its class. The X-9 also derives value from its increased fun factor. Just ask the critics at Powerboat Magazine who voted the X-9 2001 “Towboat of The Year”. It seats 12 people comfortably and at varying speeds has wakes perfectly adapted for skiing, sliding, wake skating and wakeboarding aerials. In and out of the boat, everyones senses will be heightened by the X-9 amplified 4-speaker Clarion AM/FM CD stereo system, aluminum Zero Flex Flyer tower, new special edition clamping board racks, double KGB ballast system, new graphics, a new chrome steering wheel cap, a new pylon top, a new chrome shifter knob, stainless steel windshield stanchions and a stainless steel glove box latch. The 2003 X-9 has even more potential with a new optional strapless bimini for outstanding UV protection.
